McMullin as the Director of Business Development. David joins GS2 with over 18 years of experience as a global business development executive. He is a subject matter expert and authored commentaries and analysis on investment opportunities for major business publications such as USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg.com and Rochester Democrat & Chronicle.
Prior to joining GS2, David was the Managing Partner of WhiteSand Research, LLC, a financial services company that offers research and consulting solutions for Fortune 500 / S&P 500 and hedge fund clientele. For over a decade, he contributed as a restructuring expert and produced comprehensive, and timely investment theses designed to exploit pricing inefficiencies resulting from event-driven catalysts including; bankruptcy reorganizations, capital restructuring events, mergers and acquisitions and spin-offs. David also served as Managing Partner for Global Marketing Partners, LLC, in Pittsburgh, PA for over five years where he built and managed one of the top sales and marketing firms for independent investment research and software based financial services. He started his career at PCS Securities, Inc. based in New York, NY where he served as one of their top Institutional Sales Executives. David has a BA from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
As the GS2 Director of Business Development, David will leverage his analytical acumen and transaction modeling expertise to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients while increasing revenue. As an innovator, he will produce statistical models to help predict market trends and identify potential new markets that align with GS2’s organizational goals.
